Last December, the amazingly generous residents and parents of Bleasby, Goverton, Gibsmere and Thurgarton donated a HUGE amount of much needed food and toiletries to the Netherfield Food Bank.
The number of vouchers being redeemed at the Food Bank is always increasing and over 150 people/families gratefully receive the donations each week.
With Christmas approaching, I believe demand will increase so please can I ask for your help again...
Donations of long shelf life food and toiletries can be left at the following addreses:-
- Conifers, Bleasby Road, Thurgarton
- Salisbury House, Main Street, Bleasby
- Mount Pleasant Barn, Bleasby Road, Goverton
- Cherry Cottage, Main Street, Bleasby
- 2 Manor Close, Bleasby
- 8 Hawthorn Close, Bleasby
The Food Bank are always short of jam and custard, small jars of coffee and long life milk (they always need lots of milk), toilet rolls and washing powder are in short supply too.
If you need your donation picking up, please email by clicking here and this can be arranged.
Many many thanks for your support.
