Gypsy Lane.

Do you use Gypsy Lane for leisure activities, such as walking, with or without a dog or pushchair, cycling or horse riding? Or even driving slowly and enjoying the scenery. If so, or even if you don’t personally but appreciate its value to people that do:

Would you be willing to support a move to have Gypsy Lane designated a ‘quiet lane’?

This would mean that a reduced speed limit would be set, and the lane would be preserved as a quiet country lane. We would aim to improve access to the footpath, gates instead of stiles/kissing gates so that it would be more accessible to pushchairs certainly, wheelchairs and mobility scooters depending on the particular chair or scooter. Unfortunately some of the paths are really too uneven for even the best scooters and wheelchairs.

If enough residents would like this, the Parish Council can apply to Notts CC Highways requesting this. But we do need a large number of people to respond if we are to achieve this.

If you would like this to happen please print and sign the attached form and return it to the box in the book exchange.

If there is more than one adult residing in your house you can both sign a form as this is about the population's opinions NOT household's.

Thank you.

Please remember every adult can sign this, not just one per household.

Yes please, I would like Gypsy Lane to become a designated Quiet Lane.
