Diwali Festival of Light, Diwali Dinner and Dance

In collaboration with Big Bang Events and Blue Monkey Brewery, Bleasby School would like to invite you to an authentic Indian evening celebrating the Diwali Festival of Light, Diwali Dinner and Dance.

There will be canapes on arrival, a traditional Indian three course meal served as a buffet, an interactive Bangra dance show and a traditional Dhol (drum) player.

A DJ will be playing a host of eastern and western sounds throughout the evening.

Live charity auction prizes include:

  • 7 nights in Spain, staying at a fabulous townhouse in Alicante, just a 10 minute drive from the airport.
  • A long weekend (off peak) at Watermill Cottage. A beautiful converted barn in the heart of Anglesey.
  • Lunch for four at The Old Theatre Deli, Southwell.
  • Three months of music lessons for either an adult or child in either drums, piano or guitar.
  • Signed boxing gloves from Carl Froch.
  • A long weekend (off peak) in the Algarve for four people. Staying in a two bed, two bath apartment, on a private, gated complex with a shared pool and tennis courts.
  • Sunday relaxation day with lunch at Hoar Cross Hall for two.
  • Family pass for two adults and two children at Mr Mulligan’s Pirate Golf.
  • Complimentary Four-Ball Golf game at Ramsdale Park.

Mr Mensah, Head of Bleasby School, said "We would like to thank Mrs Suki Bhaker for organising this event to raise much needed funds for the school. We hope to put the monies towards a variety of projects to support pupil learning including computing and outdoor learning and see this event as a great opportunity for families of the school to come together for a fun evening. We are very lucly at Bleasby to have such supportive parents, families and community".

The event takes place at Hoveringham Village Hall on Saturday 9th November from 6.30pn until late. There is even an optional Bollywood dress code!

100% of all proceeds from ticket sales, bar profits and auction sales donated to Bleasby School.
