Some year 4 pupils at Bleasby Primary school have been successful in securing most of the money they need from the county council and a Veolia bid for a recycling project in school.

The project consists of new recycling bins for each classroom and for all children to take part in a recycled plastic art project with the artist Anna Roebuckhttps://www.annaroebuck.com/about. The artist will process the work and return to school to install it. The finished work will be in the form of colourful banners, big flowers/butterflies and recycled planters.

They need £310 more for the whole project to go ahead.

In support of this, I wanted to ask if anyone in the village, who is unable to do a tip run or bottle bank run themselves, would like me to do it for them. In return they could make a small donation towards the project.

I am available weekend 7/8th November (along with Naomi Emerton, fellow bleasby resident, who has offered to help me) so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like our services!
