Doesn’t time fly! It is now two years since I volunteered to revamp the community website and integrate it with the Parish Council site. Since then the number of subscribers has doubled and I believe the website now acts as a valuable communication tool for residents and visitors alike.

Alongside Bleasby News, noticeboards and the Village Facebook page, it is essential to keep the site current and I would now like to hand over the day to day adminstration to someone who is interested in taking this on for a few hours per month.

I would be happy to provide training but I can assure you the site platform provided by Hugo Fox is really easy to use and could be picked up quickly by anyone who is reasonably confident with using a computer.

Through volunteering for this role you will meet some lovely people, interact with various local interest groups, keep up to date with what’s happening around the parish and have a good degree of freedom to develop the site further.

The Bleasby Parish Council pages of the site will continue to be administered exclusively by the Parish Council Clerk, so you would be solely responsible for the community pages.

I will be stepping down at the end of December, so please get in contact as soon as possible if you would like to explore this further. If we are unable to find a replacement, the Parish Council Clerk will have to take on the role until someone volunteers.

Please contact me via [email protected] and I will get back in touch.
